No matter, an inauspicious start to the day did not dampen the spirits of determined lepak-ers. Lepak in Le Park was eventful and full of twists and turns, literally (when our sports types were catching frisbees or dribbling the football) and figuratively.

The committee got up bright and early to bake the mouth-watering cakes for voracious lepak-ers: butter, orange, banana and banana chocolate. Mmm..
Needless to say, the cake was made short work of and earned plaudits all around. It was a gloomy day but chatter, television and cake lifted our spirits, and many relished a good opportunity to lepak with friends and get away from revising for prelims/final for one afternoon.

The enthusiasm of les Singapouriens sportifs kept the threat of rain at bay and there was a strong group who remained at the University Parks daring the weather to turn sour. It eventually did, but not before they managed a nice picnic and a few good games of frisbee and soccer.
Thanks to our super chill lepak-ers for being unruffled by the turn of events and for making the day so awesome! Pictures of the day can be found here, and a few select shots below. Watch out for Punts & Pints (:
